Hello, I’m Harold Walsh, an Industrial Designer from Australia with a focus on product strategy. My expertise lies in applying the voice of the customer to technically complex solutions. 3. AMPC

         Automation in Food processing
While working at SoftBank, I developed a business relationship with the Australian Meat Processing Collective (AMPC) and worked on a variety of projects involving IoT, robotics and machine vision. One such example I have included here are these high resolution 3D scans that I took of a pneumatic captive bolt pistol (slaughter gun). The client intended to make custom modifications to this device. To this end, I utilised a Space Spider 3D scanner by Artec 3D to produce geometries that enabled isolation and adaptation of individual components.
