10. Virtually Robotic
Virtually Robotic system comprised of HTC Vive, DF Robot, Raspberry Pi and ESP32, including custom software and 3D printed parts.
In 2018, this started as a inter-disiplined university project between the QUT games development club, the QUT Robotics Club and QUT creative industries. As one of four co-founders we created Virtually Robotic as a startup and brought a novel product to market. I applied my 3D design skills to work with a talented team of virtual reality game developers and mechatronics engineers, and learned alot about mixed reality experiences and remote tele-operation of robotics.
Virtually Robotic delivered education consulting and workshops to secondary and tertiary education as well as industry demonstrations to BMW AG, the QFES, the ADF and BIA5 Cyborg Dynamics Engineering.
Today the other former founders of Virtually Robotic work with the Australian Federal Police, Energy Queensland, Emergeworlds and MAXART.
